I first heard of Mitch Phillips, sports editor at Reuters on the marathon Talk podcast, where he explained how he acheieved a sub 3 hour marathon using the run/walk/run method. Until this time, I had assumed this would be a tactic used for times around the 5 or 6 hour mark, but not for Mitch. In this podcast I wanted to drill down into how he refined the Galloway method and how he finally achieved his goal of a sub 3 marathon using it.
